SKATEFEST 2010 OFFICIAL VIDEO

Skatefest is a two day charity based fundraiser event that includes skateboard competitions, Sk8 For A Cause, music, family friendly activites, food, games, and more!

Skatefest has raised over $16,000 dollars for Children's National Medical Center of Washington DC over the past three years! Help us make this year's event just as successful!

SK8 FOR A CAUSE:

Skateboard to raise money for Children's Hospital. Download here or pick-up (Fairfax Surf Shop) a Sponsor Form, and have friends, family and companies donate money for the cause. Ride begins at 2 PM at Wakefield Skate Park and is OPEN TO ALL AGES.

SKATE COMPETITION:

The competition begins with preliminary tryouts on June 18 at Wakefield Skate Park. There are three age brackets (11&U, 14& U, 18& U, and 19 & Over) and four event categories (Half Pipe Jam, Best Trick, Park/Street Course, and FSS Skate Team Tryout). On the Main Festival Day, June 19, finals for the skate competition will begin at 3 PM and be held throughout the day.
